Cooking Just Like A Pro with Chef Hank - Bechamel Sauce
MADE FROM SCRATCH BECHAMEL SAUCE

Bechamel Sauce Ingredients:
4 oz Butter and
4 oz olive oil
1 cup Onions
2 Tbsp Garlic
½ cup Flour
2 cups Chicken stock
½ cup Parmesan cheese
1 cup Heavy cream
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp White pepper
Optional nutmeg (pinch)
Bechamel Sauce Process:
Sauté onions and garlic in oil and butter until translucent. Add flour and whisk until smooth. Add salt and white pepper and continue to whisk.Add chicken stock and whisk until smooth. Allow to cook, whisking continuously until mixture starts to thicken. Whisk in cheese, heavy cream. Cook another 10-15 minutes allowing mixture to thicken again.
